The Global Community of Hysteroscopy (GCH), in collaboration with Medtronic, has released the latest instalment of its Hysteroscopy BaseCamp series. Camp 3, directed by Professor Noam Smorgick, focuses on the complexities of advanced hysteroscopic surgery and offers an in-depth look at a range of challenging intrauterine conditions.

We are proud to share that Dr. Lawrence Gobetz, fertility specialist at Vitalab Sandton, is one of the experts featured in this new module. His lecture, “The Submucous Myoma – Video Techniques,” provides practical, technique-driven insights for clinicians managing complex myoma cases within the uterine cavity.

Camp 3 includes a range of internationally led video lectures covering:

  • Defining complex hysteroscopic surgery

  • Updated evidence on intrauterine adhesions

  • Techniques for polypectomy and fibrotic lesions

  • Management of adenomyoma

  • Isthmocele surgical approaches

  • The role of hysteroscopy in ectopic pregnancy
