Optimizing Diagnostics and Fast-Tracking Infertility Care: Conference a Resounding Success
Vitalab recently hosted a highly successful two-day Workshop and Conference, “Optimizing Diagnostics and Fast-Tracking Infertility Care,” on 5-6 September 2025. We were thrilled to welcome over 75 medical professionals to the Sinosteel Building in Sandton for a unique and intensive educational experience focused on advancing fertility practice.
Day 1 Highlight: Live from the Operating Theatre
The first day was dedicated to our immersive Hysteroscopy Workshop, which offered attendees unparalleled practical insight. Dr. Gobetz and Dr. Picton provided a truly unique learning opportunity by broadcasting live surgical cases directly from the operating theatre.
Attendees witnessed real-time procedures and case discussions, including:
Visual D&C (Dilation and Curettage)
Management of Polyps and Fibroids
Techniques for Adhesion Prevention and Fluid Management
Crucially, the broadcast also included our anesthetist, underscoring the critical importance of collaborative care and the anesthetist’s role as a vital assistant during operative hysteroscopy. The hands-on, live approach ensured deep engagement and immediate clinical relevance for every practitioner.
